4. Use of LLM/Embeddings/Reranking Models
When you utilize features within JamAI Base that involve Large Language Models (LLMs), Embeddings Models, Reranking Models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), certain data may be sent to the respective LLM provider:
4.1 Input Prompts:
The prompts, including text, images, audio data, or files, that you enter to interact with the LLM will be transmitted to the LLM provider for processing.
4.2 Retrieved RAG Chunks:
If you use RAG features, text chunks retrieved from your database to provide context to the LLM will be sent along with your prompts to the corresponding LLM provider.
4.3 Embedding Data:
If you upload files, the files will be converted to text, then chunked into smaller text chunks and sent to embedding model providers like OpenAI, Cohere, etc., to create vector embeddings.
Important Note: While we strive to minimize the data sent to LLM providers and protect your privacy, the nature of some LLM or Embedding functionalities may inherently require processing some aspects of your database content to fulfill their intended purpose.
6. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than your country of residence, including Singapore, where Embedded LLM PTE. LTD. is headquartered.
6.1 Standard Contractual Clauses:
We may use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards to ensure that your information is adequately protected during international transfers.
6.2 Adequacy Decisions:
We may transfer your information to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection by the European Commission.
